LH Stainless was established in 1986 and since then we have built up an enviable reputation for quality, flexibility and customer satisfaction in our various fields of operation. We have the capability to design and manufacture all types of fabrications such as modules, tanks, vessels, pipework, structural steel and lifting and handling equipment. All of these types of fabrications are made to the highest standards in stainless or carbon steels.

Offshore FrameWe are also able to specify, supply and assemble pumps, valves and associated plant items. Blasting, painting, instrumentation and electrical works are sub contracted to closely associated specialist companies with whom we have had a long and durable working relationship.

We have a modern purpose built facility located in the North East of Scotland which is ideally placed to serve customers located in Aberdeen and the surrounding area. We use the latest plant which has been purchased with safety, quality and flexibility in mind. This allows a complete engineering service to be provided in house. We are also able to operate effectively at the customer site having many experienced site technicians within our staff.

Welding processes available include TIG, MIG and MMA for a wide range of materials including carbon and stainless steels and aluminium. We also hold various weld procedures to BS EN 288/287, ASME IX and AWS. Welders are qualified to the relevant procedures according to their training and backgrounds. All weld procedures used for offshore projects have been approved and certified by DNV or Lloyds.

Pump SkidA full design service is also available. Most units for the oil and gas industry are designed and manufactured to comply with DNV 2.7-1 and/or IMO regulations. All design and fabrication work associated with these standards is approved and surveyed on an ongoing basis by DNV, Lloyds or any other suitable authority that the customer might nominate.aterials including carbon and stainless steels and aluminium. We operate a continual improvement scheme for all staff training and as a result this ensures that all staff are trained to the required standard before commencing work for customers. They are also provided with future training plans and achievement targets to ensure that they reach their highest potential.

Offshore Storage TanksWe are also accredited to various industry passport schemes. This ensures that all staff members whether on or off site are trained to a specific level in terms of safety, capabilities and responsibilities. This has benefits both on and off site in terms of working to our safety requirements and standards.

Similarly all equipment is regularly tested under the relevant statutory requirements to ensure that whether work is being carried out in our facility or at the customer site that it will always be with safe and appropriately tested equipment.

We operate a quality assurance system in accordance with ISO 9000 with complete material and consumable traceability, relevant procedures and ongoing training and development of staff.
